On the internet: November 8, 2009

I’ve been a busy bee, so only a small update of readings abound with great pleasures, greater laughs, and snark of the highest order. Guaranteed to waste your time!
- Gay Talese reads from the new afterword of Thy Neighbor’s Wife, hosted by Vanity Fair.
- Robert Christagu, at his (of course) highly enjoyable blog at Barnes & Noble’s website, highlights the career of Brad Paisley (this is why I love The Dean).
- At their blog, the Criterion Collection posts the original treatment for Wings of Desire, written by Wim Wenders, and recently released in a (so I hear) beautiful DVD package.
- And, before they get taken down, watch two great BBC-produced music docs: Krautrock: The Rebirth of Germany, and Synth Britannia.
